About the Stream Dream Team
The Stream Dream Team, abbreviated as SDT, is a sub-group designated by the officers in order to efficiently manage the stream on Twitch while weeklies and tournaments are in place.
The team is headed by Secretary Tracy Le, and vice-headed by the Stream Manager. The team consists of the Stream Manager, along with multiple commentators and tournament organizers who willingly give up their chance to play in some tournaments in favor of helping run the stream for the entirety of the club.

Stream Manager: Luis Fernandez
Hello. My name is Luis Fernandez, also known as Mochtroid245. Though if you're reading this, you probably already saw that on the side. I'm a Computer Science major and I handle all the streaming you see for the club. If you need help streaming, just call me up and I'll be glad to help. (Just make sure you pay me more than these guys.) Aside from that, I am one of the chosen few that mains Luigi. I'm not the best at Smash but I do give people a run for their money. I know more than I should about computers and make a hobby out of building them. My free time is spent messing around with my computer, playing DOTA and giving more money to Steam.

What’s up, everyone! My name is David “MoistBruh”
Ortiz-Alejandre and I am currently a second-year Sociology major at UC Davis.
An upcoming Captain Falcon main, I hail from the great Smash location of NorCal
(specifically Oakland) and have been playing Smash since Melee back in 2005
(check my memory card!). I was introduced to Project M after I saw it on
YouTube and contacted people through the Davis Smash page and got in contact
with the almighty, superior Lord of the Galaxy, Kevin. After that, I’ve been
coming to the PMCUCD Smash events and have fell in love ever since.
I also found my voice for commentating when Jeremy (Human Resources) and I started commentating the first time we started to organize stream events. So if you ever want to hop on the mic with me, I’m down for a fun time talking nonsense with ya! |
Commentator: Austin Miller
When I first joined this club, I was the newcomer. I had only played Brawl casually before this club started. However, after being introduced to the competitive scene of Project M/Melee and the advanced inner workings of the games by a few friends, I was hooked. I went into my first PMCUCD meeting without a controller, no real knowledge of the game, and I was accepted with open arms. The club has helped improve my skill in ways farther than imaginable, all while developing great friendships along the way. This game has quickly become a dedicated part of my life, as I work my way up to being one of the best. Smash is life, and I love it.
My life besides Smash revolves around school and sports. I’m a pretty active and athletic guy, and will play any sport you throw at me. However, the sport I have dedicated myself to is baseball. In fact, I play for the UC Davis Yolos, the Club Baseball team here at UCD! Baseball is also life, and I also love it. With regards to school, I’m currently a second year student who plans to major in Astrophysics. Space and physics, who could ask for more. Along with all this, I enjoy just having a good time with everyone, and as a Commentator/TO, I hope to create the same player-friendly atmosphere that I was welcomed with. It’s PMCUCD’s time to shine. “That’s unfortunate.” – Michael Zhang, 2015 |
Commentator: Philip Chang
Heyo, the name’s Philip. I am now a second-year Materials
Science & Engineering student here at UCD. With Smash, I’ve been playing
since the original 64 game. In fact Smash was I believe the first video game I
even owned. I’ve been following the series ever since, but I’ve only really got
into competitive Smash with Smash4. Now I’ve been learning the meta of each
game going backwards, (Smash4, P:M, Brawl?, Melee, 64?) and slowly getting more
involved in each community here at Davis. I mainly choose to commentate because
I’m not the best smash player at all (Except for Smash4, I’m really good
there.).
I’m planning on starting twitch streaming eventually and will probably suck at it. I also do cosplay and other crafting-related hobbies. I also collect Amiibos. AMIIBOS YOOOO. *Makes Philip Noises* ß This will make sense later. |
Commentator/TO: Jonathan Jiang
Hi, I’m Jonathan, but more commonly referred to as JJ. In Smash, I go by Applesauce. I’ve been into video games for pretty much my whole life, but only recently started getting competitive with smash. I originally started with Melee, but soon found myself in a character crisis. Later, I tried out Project M and found Zelda, and the rest is history. Fast forward a little bit, and now I’m playing Peach in Melee, and Zelda in PM (though I’m opening myself to playing other characters in PM as well).Outside of smash, I’m a computer science major, but I’m also a huge music nerd. You can often find me playing on the piano in the music room (or anywhere there’s a piano, really). I really enjoy music in general (some of my favorites being Jason Chen, Pentatonix, and Bruno Mars), and I was in my high school’s a capella choir for 3 years. Some of my other hobbies include League of Legends (IGN: Heldmar), app design, and anime. My favorite anime is Love Live, with my favorite character being Umi Sonoda. (I mean, my double’s team is called Umi is my Waifu).
I’m a commentator and a TO (Tournament Official) for the PMCUCD Stream Dream Team. I’m looking forward to making tournaments as efficient, friendly, and most importantly fun, so come on by and let’s play!~ |
